Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry (Emercom) and the South Korean Ministry of Public Safety and Security have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation.
The MoU was signed on May 10 by Vladimir Puchkov, Russian Emergency Situations Minister, and Park In-Yong, South Korean Minister of Public Safety and Security. The sides expressed readiness to create a working group for the development of a joint activities plan for 2017-2018.
“The format of this memorandum will allow us to cooperate systematically, dealing with a wide range of issues in the field of safety and security of the people of Russia and South Korea,” Puchkov said.
