Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang has called for increasing oil and gas cooperation with Russia and developing new cooperation areas, such as petrochemicals and construction of gas pipelines.
“I believe that the fuel and energy sector will remain a key area of Vietnamese-Russian cooperation in addition to the successful interaction in oil and gas prospecting and extraction projects,” he said in a program aired by the Rossiya-24 television channel (VGTRK).
“The sides should think on ways of raising the efficiency of this interaction, alongside the development of new areas - petrochemicals, construction of gas pipelines, production of liquefied gas and supply of raw materials for oil refining,” the Vietnamese leader said.
