Briton run over by truck in Rostov region

A British citizen was killed while trying to cross the road outside a pedestrian crossing in Rostov-on-Don, the region's emergency services told Interfax.

"A 21-year-old man tried to cross a busy part of the M4-Don motorway outside a pedestrian crossing in the Aksaksky district on May 28 afternoon and was run over by a truck. He died of injuries before the ambulance arrived," the source said.

The man was a citizen of the UK, the source said.
