Follow the link to learn morePakistan is hoping to sign a free trade agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) within a year, State Minister Shiekh Muhammad Muneer, executive director of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, said on June 6.
“Our government wants to have more and more free trade agreements, our government also desires to have an FTA signed with the Eurasian Economic Union. And for that they have to start negotiations and after few months or maybe one year we will also have an FTA with the EAEU,” he said in an interview with Interfax.
The EAEU comprises Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.
