Performance artist Pavlensky fined $7,800 for setting FSB door on fire

The Meshchansky District Court in Moscow has ordered that performance artist Pavel Pavlensky pay a fine of 500,000 rubles ($7,800) for setting a door at the headquarters of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) in downtown Moscow on fire, an Interfax correspondent reported from the court room.

Pavlensky, who was found guilty of damaging a cultural heritage object, was released in the court room.
