Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent birthday greetings to Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Kremlin press service reported.
"The Russian head of state mentioned rich history of relations between the two countries and expressed his confidence that they will continue developing constructive cooperation in various fields for the good of the Russian and British peoples and in the interests of stronger international security and stability," the press service said in a statement shared with Interfax on June 11.
