Konashenkov: Russia and U.S. haven't compiled unified map of units in Syria

Russia and the United States have been unable so far to make any serious progress in compiling a unified map detailing the locations of units active in Syria, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov told reporters on June 19.

"The Russian Defense Ministry has been offering its American colleagues for the past few months to draw up a unified map that will contain relevant information on the locations of forces active in Syria. However, we have been unable so far to make any significant progress in this issue," he said.
