Rosneft is inviting other Russian partners, including banks, to join its oil refinery project in Indonesia, the Russian oil major's president, Igor Sechin said in an interview with TV channel Rossiya 24 on June 21.
Answering a question about Rosneft's role in the construction of the oil refinery in Indonesia, Sechin said: "We will build the plant. Probably, we will do so ourselves, but this will be done via a joint venture with the participation of Pertamina. We are holding talks so that other partners from Russia join the JV, in particular a bank that will be ready to finance the construction of the enterprise. The bank will provide loans to suppliers of the equipment we intend to use."
