The export of Russian vodka rose 2.4 percent year-on-year in money terms in January - May 2016 and totaled $39 million, the Federal Customs Service said in a report on July 8.
Vodka supplies in physical terms grew 30.9 percent year-on-year to 0.782 million decaliters.
Vodka export to non-CIS countries grew 9 percent year-on-year in physical terms to 0.5 million decaliters but declined 11.5 percent in value terms to $28.4 mln.
0.24 million decaliters of vodka were exported to CIS countries in January - May 2016, up 2.4 times on an annualized basis. Export surged 76.7 percent year-on-year in money values to $10.6 mln, the Customs said.
