Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (manufacturer of Russia Sukhoi SuperJet - 100 aircraft) is in talks with Mexican airline Interjet on cooperation in the field of after-sales service and possible manufacturing of spare parts for the SSJ-100, Russia’s Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Andrey Boginsky told TASS on Oct. 11.
"Sukhoi Civil Aircraft is now closely communication with the Mexican partners on creating an after-sales service center, and possible manufacturing of spare parts in Mexico," he said.
Interjet is the largest user of SSJ-100 aircraft outside Russia. The company’s fleet comprises 22 SSJ-100 aircraft.
In April, Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company and Interjet signed an agreement to set up a maintenance center for SSJ-100s supplied to North and South American markets.
Sukhoi Superjet 100 features fully electronic fly-by-wire control system for piloting, landing gear extension and retraction, and a brake system to prove its high maintainability and weight perfection. Noise and emission levels of SSJ100 meet the strictest ecological requirements and comply with ICAO existing and future requirements.
