“Times and Epochs” is an annual summer historical festival that takes place in Moscow. Times & Epochs presents a new theme every year. In 2015 the festival was dedicated to the history of Ancient Rome.
The festival attracted participants from all over Russia and beyond. The finest gladiatorial teams from Germany, Italy and Russia clashed with each other in the arena. The organizers aimed to show different sides of ancient life, so besides the arena there was a Roman forum, a slave market, authentic craft shops with master classes, as well as theatrical performances.
