The first foreign exhibition, which displayed a vast collection of dinosaurs and their contemporaries, was organized in 1973. Held in Japan, it made such an impression on the visiting public that in 1978 the "Russian dinosaurs" once again set foot in the country of the Rising Sun. The geography and diversity of the exhibitions has expanded in recent years.
