The North-Ossetian Nature Reserve is situated on the slopes of the Greater Caucasus Range. Here you can find beautiful rivers, unique plants and animals – Caucasian goats and bison. Hunting in the reserve is prohibited. On the reserve’s territory are situated specific towers – the most-celebrated architectural landmarks of ancient North Ossetia - and a medieval architectural site, a sanctuary called Rekom.
