Moscow's Sokolniki Park is home to Europe's largest ice sculpture museum. The ice sculpture museum has 500 square meters of exhibition space and the exhibition will change every six months. Hundreds of tons of snow and ice are used to make the sculptures, which are lit creatively with colored lights.
This time sculptors from Arkhangelsk and Moscow have built an open air ice city with interactive works including an alien maze, a parade of the planets, a space station, and a moon buggy. Multicolored lighting and music accompany the ice installations.
The show has proved especially popular with children. Ice Planet will be remain open until 22 March.
