Over the past few years, there has been a heated discussion on whether Lenin’s body should be removed from its mausoleum on Red Square and buried. 

Nevertheless, according to information published on the Russian procurement agency’s website, the government will spend over 13 million rubles of federal funds ($197,000) in 2016 to keep Lenin’s body in shape. 

It has been 92 years since the death of the first Soviet leader.
