When we first met this young lady she was preparing for her first pre-show fitting with Oxana Fedorova's brand. (Oxana Fedorova is a former Miss Russia, a woman who knows the ins and outs of the catwalk.) Far from such self-assertiveness, our young model Anastasia looked humble and shy: "I realize the modeling business is very tough. You have to hang around a lot, put up with a lot of things and keep quiet."
Anastasia Isakova, 21, came from Ulyanovsk (900 km east of Moscow) to take part in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. She has been a model in her hometown for two years, but this is her first chance to participate in such a big and prestigious fashion show. The experience has been full of surprises, both positive and negative.
