In an interview with Sergei Brilyov, the anchor of a Saturday current events show, Kerry said that his second visit to Russia during this year reflects the fact that, "despite their differences, Russia and the United States can, and want, to work together effectively."
Commenting at the anchorman's request on the speech made by U.S. President Barack Obama at the UN General Assembly, in which he named Russia among key threats, along with Ebola and ISIS, Kerry said that Obama "did not lump them all together."
He spoke of the different challenges that the United States is facing, and that the Ukrainian crisis was the key problem at the time, but there has been significant advancement since then, Kerry said.
